Development Capital, LLC is a private investment firm based in New York City. The firm represents the interests of the Tierney Family and invests globally in a variety of traditional and non-traditional financial assets. Paul E. Tierney Jr., founding principal of Coniston Partners, started the firm in 1999, and currently serves as Chairman. Matthew S. Tierney is the Managing Partner and oversees all investment decisions and portfolio management.
The firm has a global focus, investing its own capital in public and private companies. The aim is to be active in situations where the principals feel they can add significant value. In addition, the firm invests in a broad array of outside investment funds.
